Championing STEM education for our future leaders
We're driven by the belief that a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) is not only a fantastic path but also loads of fun! We're passionate about inspiring young minds to realize the exciting possibilities within STEM fields. We’d love to discuss our array of curriculum plans tailored for gateway programs, after-school sessions, holiday programs, or any engineering/robotics classes. We're dedicated to making STEM education engaging, accessible, and a blast for young learners.
What Young People & Youth Workers Say

Youth | Malborough Youth Trust
“He rā tino whakamīharo! What an incredible day of ngā whakaaro hihiko (innovative ideas), ngākau nui (enthusiasm), and kotahitanga (unity)! Our young innovators left us in awe with their creativity and mana. General FAQs
-
We can provide robot carnage for as little as four, or as many as 40 people in our venue. We can scale for more people if your venue allows for it - holding multiple tournaments over multiple days.
For build & fight events, we can supply up to 48 robots and we recommend 2-5 people to be on each robot team.
-
Yes! The robots are similar to the robots that fight on the TV shows. The only difference is size. Our World Champion robot, End Game, is 113kg while these robots are 2kg.
-
It’s very safe to drive and build robots. Ours are only operated inside our bullet-proof arena, and our team will handle turning the bots on and off to prevent any injuries.
-
For build & fight events, it is best to allocate at least 3 hours for robot building, and then time for fighting. Usually, a four-robot tournament requires less than an hour (four fights). A 48-robot tournament would require around 4 hours (19 fights). We’re to happy to tailor these times to individual events and accommodate what would work best!
For general robot fighting of our custom bots, we recommend allocating 30 minutes for at least two robot fights. This will include a tour around our workshop, learning about our bigger robots too. We can fit either two fights or six fights in a 30 minute timeslot - depends how speedy you want us to be! -
Not at all! We give you everything you need, and will walk you through each step if you need it! We bring along our team of experts to help out with the tricky questions and repairs.
-
No worries! There are a lot of jobs in the team including driving, decorating and scouting out the opponents.
-
We have plenty of spare parts, and our team of experts will help repair any technical issues with the robots after their fights. For build & fight events, part of the challenge and reward is being able to work together under pressure to fix the bots up between fights.
